[The image jars briefly to the accompaniment of a muttered curse before steadying on the roof of the church, where the battered cross seems to be wrapped in … wires?
Dryly, somewhere behind the PCD, Methos narrates.]
I would just like you to know that if this is unseasonable it is not my fault. I haven’t the slightest how to build a generator.
It doesn't matter if it's unseasonal! Now just make sure you're ready.
[The disembodied voice sounds somewhat far off, as if there is some distance between it and the currently recording device.
Methos raises his voice, a waving hand visible briefly at the edge of the frame.] We're live. Enjoy!
[It's hard to tell at first, but there is hand at the edge of the roof, followed closely by another. With relative ease, the form of one Duo Maxwell pulls himself up onto the rooftop of the church. There's a sort of cable wound around his right arm, the end of it trailing down the roof and out of sight.]
Hooray for old building debris to give us short people a leg up!
[He turns and waves at Methos before he makes his way over to the cross, avoiding some of the rougher patches as the cord unwinds with each step.]
Here's hoping it works the first time! You might have to grab some of my tools if one of these wires got frayed!
Do you have electrician's tape in there? [The image jolts again as Methos takes a few steps back, framing Duo and the cord more carefully.]
Somewhere, yeah!
[He kneels down to inspect the cables wrapped around the cross, holding the end of the cord in one hand.]
I think we're good, though!
[Duo grabs part of the wires and waves down at Methos and the camera with the hand holding the cord.]
THEN HERE'S TO A MERRY CHRISTMAS, A HAPPY NEW YEAR, A HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, AND FOR US ALL BEING IN RELATIVELY ONE PIECE!
[And with that, Duo connects the cord and wires. It's now quite obvious that those wires were white lights since the cross is now brightly lit!]
YES! IT WORKS!
[Methos laughs, holding the PCD steady on the light show, and adds:] Happy whatever.
